
The Literacy Center partners with many different organizations to fulfill its mission. Past and ongoing partners include:
The Ohio Department of Education, Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) office has partnered with the Literacy Center since 1992 when the ABLE Resource Center was established to provide resources and professional development to adult literacy providers in Appalachian Ohio.
The Ohio Board of Regents: The Central/Southeast ABLE Resource Center takes part in Ohio Skills Bank regional meetings for regions 7, 10 and 11 and is a participant in the Stackable Certificate Initiative.
Ohio University - The Literacy Center was established by the Ohio University Board of Trustees in February of 1998. For information on this partnership, please click HERE.
