The C/SE ABLE Resource Center is a Charter Member of the National Adult Education Honor Society (www.naehs.org). Each year C/SE ABLE programs are invited to submit applications for their students to be inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society. Eligibility criteria for students to be accepted was solicited from ABLE staff in our region and is outlined on this application.
The C/SE Resource Center Advisory Board’s Leadership Committee will review the applications and make selections of those who will be inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society. Inductees will be announced prior to your program’s recognition event.
Each inductee will be attached to our Charter and receive:
• A certificate with their name and program
• NAEHS pin
• Letters of Reference
• The opportunity to compete for scholarships/employment incentives as they become available.
These students will be awarded at your program’s recognition event by a member of the C/SE Resource Center Leadership Committee (unless the program would prefer doing this on their own). Each year we will keep the names of those students who are inducted into the NAEHS from our Charter displayed in the Resource Center and posted on our web site.
